According to this source, the 2025 GR Corolla will get an automatic transmission.Since its launch in 2023, Toyota has offered the GR Corolla only with a manual transmission. But finally, Toyota is going to equip the GR Corolla with an automatic transmission. The leak suggests that it's an 8-speed automatic unit, with an increase in peak torque. This could result in faster shifts and quicker 0–60 times. But, the automatic transmission will be optional, only for the top-end Premium trim.The 2025 GR Corolla may also get an upgraded manual transmission. This is because the leaked info suggests that even the base "Core" trim of the 2025 GR Corolla will get a bump in torque. The 2025 GR Corolla Might Get A New Manual Transmission TooSince its launch, Toyota has offered two special editions of the GR Corolla. One is the Circuit Edition, which is still present on the lineup. The other one is the most aggressive, track-ready Morizo Edition.The GR Corolla Circuit Edition is a special edition with notable performance upgrades. It comes adorned with a bunch of carbon fiber exterior components. Also, standard are a pair of front and rear limited-slip differentials.
