Bugatti’s new Shanghai Showroom Working alongside their trusted partner Kingsway Apex, Bugatti have opted for a new showroom in Shanghai, their first in China. This means that so many wealthy, well-to-do individuals of Shanghai can now spec, design, and order their dream hypercar without having to travel to Molsheim to do so. And clearly, like most of their creations, Bugatti went all out with this project. The interior has been meticulously crafted to immerse clients in the spirit of Molshiem. From refined materials and subtle lighting to the familiar curves of Bugatti’s design language, this design, along with every surface, colour, and texture, reflects Bugatti’s identity. This was further enhanced by a Divo being present, which made its official debut in China at the launch of this showroom. The success of Bugatti Shanghai owes much to Bugatti’s partner Kingsway Apex, represented by Principal Albert Wong. As Wong explained, every element of the new showroom was designed to offer Chinese clients a direct connection to the full Bugatti experience. From initial consultation to bespoke configuration, the process mirrors the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define Bugatti itself. The Launch Event The grand opening of Bugatti Shanghai was attended by esteemed clients, media, and key figures from Bugatti Rimac. These include Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti Rimac, Hendrik Malinowski, Managing Director at Bugatti, and Kostas Psarris, Regional Director for the Middle East and Asia. The Divo that was present later made an appearance at Shanghai’s Lingang Special Area. Further, to celebrate the opening, they hosted a temporary exhibition of the Bugatti Home Collection by Luxury Living. This exclusive showcase featured the TYPE_3 sofa and ottoman in Voltaic Blue, both echoing the brand’s fluid design language and signature ‘EB’ details. Complementing these pieces were the TYPE_14 rug and TYPE_11 side table, whose forms capture the elegant ‘C’ curve seen across Bugatti’s hypercar line-up. Malinowski noted that “Shanghai is a city where tradition and innovation converge” was the ideal location for Bugatti. Because, as we know, with all their hypercars, Bugatti has been pushing the boat on both tradition and innovation. Ultimately, with China and Shanghai’s growing economy, now was the best time for Bugatti to reach out into the growing Chinese Market. A decision that will benefit greatly long term. Source: Bugatti
