Ferrari has revealed a truly unique Roma Spider, crafted by its famed Tailor Made department, as part of the new ‘Ferrari One of a Kind’ exhibition at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. From today, visitors will get an up-close look at this bespoke creation, which exemplifies the pinnacle of personalization available to Ferrari owners. This Roma Spider stands apart with its exterior, tailored to perfection, and an interior boasting intricate, one-off details. Each element of the car has been carefully curated to reflect the client’s unique vision, demonstrating the limitless potential of Ferrari's customization program. Ferrari Shows Precision Craftsmanship with One-Off Roma SpiderFerrari’s Roma Spider highlights the automaker’s focus on precision craftsmanship and sustainability. One of the most striking features is the laser-etched compass rose on the hood, marked with the precise geographic coordinates of Maranello, Ferrari’s historic home. This detailed laser work extends across the car's aluminum body panels, reflecting Ferrari’s precision in both design and production techniques. Finished in an elegant matte bronze, dubbed Ora Mida, the Roma Spider also sports distinctive Scuderia Shields on its front wheel arches. Beneath its sleek exterior, Ferrari’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the use of recycled aluminum for key components of its twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine. Not only does this help reduce the vehicle’s overall weight, but it also enhances its performance—enabling a top speed of over 320 km/h and acceleration from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Inside the Roma Spider, the attention to craftsmanship continues. The cabin is fitted with red leather seats featuring the iconic white Ferrari logo, while natural wood panels and accents enhance the rear floor and buttresses. Recycled materials play a significant role here as well, with the center console incorporating sand from Ferrari’s foundry and thread throughout the interior made from recycled tires. Ferrari’s Path to Carbon NeutralityThe Roma Spider Tailor Made underscores Ferrari’s commitment to research and development of sustainable materials. This aligns with the automaker’s ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality across its entire value chain by the end of the decade. Ferrari’s investment in recycled luxury materials is part of a larger strategy aimed at reducing environmental impact without compromising on craftsmanship or performance. Achieving carbon neutrality will also mean embracing electrification. Ferrari’s first fully electric vehicle is slated to debut in late 2025 as a 2026 model. Early test mules of the upcoming electric model, known as the F244, have already been spotted, using body panels from the Roma and Maserati Levante. While Ferrari’s future lies in electrification, models like the Roma remain critical to the brand’s lineup. As Ferrari’s entry-level offering, the Roma is designed for drivers seeking a more accessible yet still powerful vehicle.
