A couple months ago we published that Underground racing thought the Revuelto was slow, so they slapped on two turbos. As promised, here's the video, first of all: Now, we get to see what this looks like in real world performance terms. Yes, you read that right. The world's first twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Revuelto is here, and it's absolutely mental. Let's put this in perspective. The standard Revuelto, which is already Lamborghini's most powerful production car ever, comes with a 6.5-liter V12 engine and three electric motors that together produce 1001 horsepower. That's enough to launch this bull from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 217 mph.But for Underground Racing, that's merely a starting point.The North Carolina-based tuning house has equipped the Revuelto with their Titanium Twin Turbo system, featuring custom-built billet wheel Precision turbochargers. To handle all that extra boost, they've also fitted a JRR M1 engine management system. The result? A claimed 2000 horsepower - effectively doubling the output of what was already a hypercar.While the company is still in the development and fine-tuning phase of this monster build, they've released a video showing the car launching off the line. And while acceleration figures haven't been released yet, given UGR's track record with their twin-turbo Huracáns and Aventadors, we can expect this thing to be devastatingly quick. It's worth noting that this isn't just a matter of bolting on some turbos and calling it a day. The Revuelto's hybrid powertrain makes this build particularly complex. You'd need to integrate it with the 3 electric motors, and power management system. Then, you'd need some software wizardry to make sure it all works. That Underground Racing has managed to achieve this so quickly after the Revuelto's release is probably some kind of black magic.
