Lamborghini has pulled the wraps off its newest hybrid supercar the Temerario at Dubai's Museum of the Future. The launch brought together over 300 guests, a mix of media and long-time Lamborghini clients from across the UAE and the wider GCC region. Guests didn’t just see the car from afar; they got a chance to get up close, take in its sleek lines, and learn about the hybrid technology that Lamborghini calls fuoriclasse—outstanding, in its own class. Temerario Brings Hybrid Power to the Middle East The Temerario is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine paired with electric motors. This groundbreaking powertrain was designed and developed from scratch in Sant’Agata Bolognese. This is the second model from Lamborghini’s High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) lineup to hit the Middle East, following the Revuelto. With the Temerario, the company’s shift to hybrid power is now complete, rounding out the lineup that began its transformation with the Urus SE. Launching the Temerario in Dubai wasn’t a coincidence. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said, “The Middle East is a key region for us, and it is a privilege to debut the Temerario here in Dubai, a city that embodies bold ambition and progress." Guests at the event didn’t just get a look under the hood—they got a chance to customize their dream car. Everything We Know About Temerario Replacing the Huracán, The Temerario pairs a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V-8 engine with three electric motors, creating a staggering 907 horsepower. Just for perspective, that’s only 94 horsepower less than Lamborghini’s V-12 Revuelto. The V-8 alone delivers 789 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque, but with the electric motors in play, torque jumps to 590 lb-ft. The engine’s redline is 10,000 rpm—first and only production super sports car engine able to reach this level. On the road, the Temerario goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.7 seconds and tops out at 213 mph. The car’s hybrid system is designed to deliver instant torque and smooth power at any speed. Drivers can fine-tune the experience with 13 driving programs, including a drift mode with three levels of control. A 3.8-kWh lithium-ion pack sits neatly in the centre tunnel, alongside the transmission, to balance the car’s weight. It’s also reinforced underneath for added protection. Charging isn’t complicated, either. The battery can be replenished through regenerative braking, the V-8 engine, or a plug-in charger. Lamborghini claims it only takes 30 minutes to go from empty to full using a standard 7-kW charger. And if you want a quieter, cleaner drive, there’s an EV-only mode—though Lamborghini hasn’t shared the exact range yet.
