Automobili Lamborghini, commemorating its 60th anniversary, has integrated art into its celebrations by unveiling the Revuelto 'Opera Unica' at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. This exclusive art piece features a uniquely customized version of the Revuelto, Lamborghini's inaugural V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). The conception and design of this one-of-a-kind vehicle are credited to the creativity of Centro Stile, guided by the expertise of Lamborghini's Ad Personam team.Launched earlier in the year, the Revuelto has set a new standard in hybrid plug-in performance, combining exhilarating sportiness with pure driving joy. Its revolutionary architecture, cutting-edge design, ultra-efficient aerodynamics, and innovative carbon frame concept contribute to its impressive 1,001 horsepower, ensuring outstanding agility and effectiveness on both road and racetrack. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, expressed his pride in introducing the Revuelto 'Opera Unica' to the U.S., particularly at Art Basel Miami Beach, acknowledging America's status as the company's largest market. He highlighted the Revuelto's status as the fastest, most technologically advanced, and most customizable Lamborghini ever, receiving global acclaim. This 'Opera Unica' edition celebrates Lamborghini's iconic V12 heritage and showcases the extraordinary potential of Lamborghini's Ad Personam customization. The Revuelto 'Opera Unica', inspired by the 60th anniversary theme, boasts a hand-painted exterior that gracefully transitions from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene, enhanced with meticulous warm and cool colored brushstrokes, a process that required extensive testing and execution time. The car's bonnet subtly features the 60th-anniversary logo.Inside, the car's interior mirrors its artistic exterior, creating a unique and asymmetric design palette. This required an additional 220 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. The interior, featuring two-tone Nero Ade and Viola Acutus leather, is adorned with the 60th anniversary logo, harmoniously aligning with the exterior's color scheme. Uniquely, even the start and stop cover deviates from its usual red, echoing the exterior's brushstroke hues. Mitja Borkert, Automobili Lamborghini's Design Director, explained their artistic approach, likening the Revuelto to a canvas and using a mix of colors and brush techniques to create this special livery. This approach accentuates the vehicle's aerodynamics and speed. This one-of-a-kind Revuelto 'Opera Unica' will debut at a special event in Miami Beach, accompanied by a showcase of artworks commissioned by Automobili Lamborghini America dealers, in honor of Lamborghini's 60th anniversary. source: Lamborghini
