Lamborghini Milestone in 2024: High Figures Back Up Success 2024 will become one of the most important in Lamborghini’s 61-year-long tenure of building cars. The brand delivered 8,411 cars in the first three quarters of 2024, marking an 8.6% increase over 2023. This growth fuelled a 20.1% rise in revenue, reaching 2,434 million euros. In addition, operating profits also saw a substantial jump of 9.8%, totalling 678 million euros. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, highlighted this achievement, stating, “The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini.” Lamborghini’s Hybrid Line-up: Key to Its Success Winkelmann attributes these numbers to Lamborghini’s all-new innovative line-up. This year has marked Lambo’s transition to fully hybrid-powered cars, as seen in most of their new models. This year has seen the introduction of the hybrid-powered Temerario, the long-awaited replacement for the Huracan, and the first Lamborghini supercar to be turbocharged. Reception to the new “baby bull” has been warm. It’s also seen the introduction of the Urus SE, a hybrid-powered variant of Lamborghini’s 6-year-old best seller. The SE has remained consistent with the Urus’ popularity with order books sold out throughout 2025. And there’s the Revuelto, the 6th model in Lambo’s near 60-year-old V12 flagship line-up. The first hybrid-powered Lamborghini, its order books have been fully sold out, such that there’s a two-year waiting list for the car. All three have created a stir and made customers eager to buy the latest more eco-friendly raging bulls. Undoubtedly, their slow transition through hybrids instead of going fully electric is a key reason why. Lamborghini’s Strategy for Profitability and Future Plans According to Managing Director and CFO Paolo Poma, Lambo’s strategy has been executed with precision, allowing it to thrive even in the challenging conditions of today’s climate. "The year’s first nine months’ results demonstrate the exceptional execution of our strategy,” Poma commented. “We have solidified an excellent level of profitability.” Lamborghini’s strong sales figures and positive customer response to its hybrid models not only cement it as a leader in the supercar market industry but also pave the way for future growth. By going hybrid, they have committed not only to reducing emissions and improving performance but also to keeping their clientele happy by not fully abandoning their engines. Lamborghini is already one of the world’s most loved car makers, and this commitment makes it a driving force in the current supercar market. Many car manufacturers could learn a thing or two from the Raging Bull as this recent success, along with their previous steady growth since 1998, has made Lambo the most valuable supercar maker in the world.
