Lamborghini Temerario: The Hybrid Revolution Continues The Lamborghini Temerario will soon hit the roads and petrolheads around the world are eager to get behind the wheel and see what this new car has to offer. This long-awaited successor to the brilliant Huracan uses an all-new 4.0l twin-turbo flat-plane-crank V8 combined with a triad of electric motors. The results that come of this combo are stratospheric, 920 horsepower, 600 lb-ft of torque, 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds, a top speed of 212mph and redline at a stratospheric 10,000rpm. Not to mention it has 13 different driving modes and an optional Alleggerita pack which will result in a 25kg loss in weight and a 158% increase in aerodynamics. This car’s performance is truly as reckless as the name Temerario translates to. Certainly, it will cause a Ferrari 296 to quiver and shake. But there are two points of concern. The styling lacks the drama and craze of a proper Lambo, which to be fair was an issue for both the first generation Gallardo and Huracan respectively. But more worrying is the soundtrack from prototypes seems to be more muffled, like a McLaren rather than the raucous bellow of the old V10. Fingers crossed the production models will sound louder but right now, I wouldn’t say this is an especially great noise. But we’ll have to wait and see when the reviews come out if this car is truly Reckless. Lamborghini Temerario: Canadian Launch and Pricing Details The Temerario officially made its debut at Ricarda’s Restaurant in Toronto. The exclusive launch event was held in the venue's Atrium. Both standard and Alleggerita models were present and Lambo officially announced that customers would expect their first Temerario’s by 2026. Price-wise, the car is expected to start at $432,490 CAD, excluding freight, PDI, and taxes. Significantly more than a Huracan but then this is leaps and bounds above in performance. And undoubtedly like the Huracan and Gallardo, Spyder and Lightweight Models will soon follow. Let’s just hope this one is a proper Lambo from the start. Source: Lamborghini
