We finally know the debut date of the Lamborghini Huracan successor. The new car, code-named Lamborghini 634, goes by the name Lamborghini Temerario. This new plug-in hybrid supercar will launch on August 16. The reveal will take place at Pebble Beach during the Monterey Car Week. A screaming non-hybrid naturally aspirated V10 motor powers the Huracán. Unlike its predecessor, the new Lamborghini Temerario will use a twin-turbo V8 hybrid. Lamborghini calls it an HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). Lambo says that the Temerario will complete the hybridization of its range. The New High-Performance Plug-In Hybrid Twin-Turbo V8 Of The Lamborghini Temerario Powering the new Lamborghini Temerario is a new 789-hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 motor. Torque output is 538 lb-ft, and the car redlines at a visceral 10,000 rpm. It comes paired with a plug-in hybrid system comprising three electric motors. The Lamborghini Temerario sports an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is the same unit as in the flagship Revuelto. As of now, we are unsure about the exact power output produced by the hybrid system. But we do know about the electric motor located between the engine and transmission. It is capable of outputting 147 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Regarding the combined output, Lamborghini's CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, had tweeted about it. He hinted that the new powertrain is capable of outputting over 887 hp. Hence, the Lamborghini Temerario will offer 250+ horses over the most potent Huracán. However, it would not surprise us if the number of horses exceeds 900. Lamborghini has given significant importance to the sensory experience too.
