Manhart is a German tuner specialized in creating ultra-high-performance BMW cars. They are pretty much like how Brabus is for Mercedes. But then Alpina is the veritable equivalent to Brabus. That is true, but Manhart has been building super-powered BMWs for some time now. But this time, we're not focusing on a boosted Bimmer. Manhart has been expanding their lineup. Their latest creation belongs to the three-pointed star family. The Manhart GER 800 is the latest-gen Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S with a Manhart Turbo Upgrade. The GLE 63 S 4Matic+ Coupe is already a burly machine with better handling than a regular SUV. Manhart has tweaked it to produce way more power and improve the dynamics a bit. Powering the AMG GLE 63 S Coupe is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This potent AMG powerhouse is a rather special motor. It can be found under the hoods of many high-performance Mercedes-AMG cars, as well as the Aston Martin DBX. The Aston Martin DBX 707, the most powerful version of the super-SUV, cranks out 697 horses. Hence, we know that this AMG powertrain is capable of cranking out higher outputs. Manhart GER 800: What Upgrades Have Manhart Endowed Upon The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe? Manhart started by upgrading the turbos, ECU, and exhaust system. The SUV now features MANHART OPF Delete Sport Downpipes with two 300-cell catalysts. They also added an extra electric compressor and an in-house MHtronik control unit. The AMG GLE 63 S Coupe produces 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque in its stock form. The Manhart GER 800 ups these numbers to 789 hp (800 PS) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). That is a gain of 186 horses and 110 lb-ft of torque. Along with upgrades to the powertrain, the chassis also received some enhancements. Manhart has modified the standard air suspension setup for added agility. The Manhart GER 800 sits 30 mm lower than the GLE 63 S, resulting in better dynamics. A slew of cosmetic upgrades differentiate the Manhart GER 800 from the regular GLE 63 S Coupe. For starters, the Manhart GER 800 dons a carbon widebody kit from TopCar Design. The kit includes wider fender extensions and matching front and rear bumper inserts. A ducktail spoiler and a vented hood are also part of the cosmetic upgrade. The Manhart coupe sports a set of 23-inch Manhart Concave One alloy wheels. These flaunt a silk matte black finish with yellow strips accenting them. On the inside, the Manhart GER isn't drastically different. However, it gets a lot of yellow stitching. This distinct element beautifully complements the all-black Alcantara+leather upholstery of the Mercedes. In short, this beastly AMG coupe SUV is a top choice if you desire something unique.
