Officine Fuoriserie and its Many Different Liveries Maserati has recently launched a new personalisation paint shop known as the Officine Fuoriserie program. This new paint shop covers 4,000 square meters, offers an extensive palette of colours and finishes inspired by Maserati’s past, paints up to 24 cars a day and is staffed by Maserati’s most talented craftsmen. Maserati has structured the program into two distinct categories. Collezione Corse celebrates the past with liveries inspired by Maserati’s legendary past racers. The cars feature stunning liveries with virtually no decals, and heritage interiors such as tanned vegan leather and combed melange wood. Then there’s Collezione Futura, which draws inspiration more from Maserati’s future. These cars feature bold materials, two-tone bodywork, matte textures, unique chromatic treatments, and futuristic finishes, with inspiration from interior design, product design, and even sportswear. And for those who want the ultimate expression in, Maserati offers something called Bespoke. This program sees clients with Maserati’s design team to create a one-of-one model. Through custom paint colours, tailored interiors, and even laser engraving, customers can truly express their vision of their new Maserati. The 621 horsepower, 201mph, carbon–fibre tub, metal-folding, exceptionally pretty MC20 Cielo. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement, Maserati have created the one-off “Less is More” MC20 Cielo to launch the Officine Fuoriserie. This one-off features a Blu Corse Matte base blended perfectly with Rosso Capannelle Gloss, Giallo Avia Pervia Gloss and Bianco Audace. Each wheel sports a different colour combination, and the body is painted with intricate hand-painted geometric shapes, paying tribute to artists like Kandinsky and Klee. Whilst dynamically the MC20 Cielo is far from the best supercar, there’s no denying it is a thing of beauty. And this “Less is More” Livery not only sums the car up perfectly but elevates its beauty to new peaks. With this one-off, Maserati have proven their Officine Fuoriserie program is the best decision the company has made in recent years.
