Limited to just 200 units, this rare beauty is a tribute to the German automaker’s deep connection with motorsport, blending performance with design inspired by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team. At first glance, the car’s striking obsidian black metallic paint, hand-painted silver stars, and PETRONAS-green accents immediately evoke memories of Mercedes’ iconic race cars that have dominated the F1 grid over the past decade. While the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team might be facing a dry spell this season, there’s no denying the brand's illustrious legacy. With eight constructors’ championships, seven drivers’ titles, and a track record of wins since 2010, Mercedes remains a powerhouse. To commemorate its success and the 50th anniversary of its long-time sponsor PETRONAS, Mercedes has crafted this GT 63 Pro edition. An oil-themed special edition may sound unconventional on paper, but in practice, Mercedes has struck gold. A bold exterior with Motorsport DNAThe GT 63 PRO doesn’t just pay homage to Formula 1 in the name—it embodies the sport in every sleek line and bold design detail. Mercedes has gone all out with carbon fiber elements, including the front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing. All of these additions are complemented by the AMG Aerodynamics Package. One of the standout features of this special edition is the vibrant PETRONAS-colored accents. These subtle, yet striking details can be found on the front splitter, side air intake flics, rear diffuser attachment, and even the rims. The 21-inch AMG forged wheels are finished in matte black, contrasting beautifully with the PETRONAS-colored rim flanges for an unmistakably sporty appearance. To tie the whole look together, the brake calipers are also finished in the iconic PETRONAS hue. But it’s not all about aesthetics. This Motorsport Collectors Edition comes packed with features designed to keep it secure and pristine. The GUARD 360° vehicle monitoring system provides protection against theft and vandalism. And, as an added touch of exclusivity, each car comes with a custom indoor car cover, specifically tailored to protect the vehicle from dust and scratches. The vibrant stitching can be found across the seats, door panels, center console, and instrument panel, offering a pleasing contrast against the rich black Nappa leather and carbon fiber trim. The blue stitching not only adds a splash of color but also ties the interior to the exterior’s distinctive F1-inspired design. In true AMG fashion, the cabin is equipped with an array of premium features. A standout is the Burmester 3D Surround Sound System, which boasts 15 speakers. The 360-degree camera adds a layer of convenience and safety, while the MBUX interior assistant and head-up display bring cutting-edge technology right in front of the driver. With this level of power at its disposal, the car rockets from 0 to 100 kph in a mere 3.2 seconds. To ensure it can handle such immense power, Mercedes has equipped the car with AMG ceramic brakes featuring massive 420-millimeter front discs and six-piston calipers, giving the driver absolute confidence during high-speed stops. The car is also fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, renowned for their excellent grip and track-ready performance.
