The car in the photos even says “GT3 RS” on the outside, but watch the video — the GT3 is naturally aspirated, but you can clearly hear turbos on this one. The new 2027 GT2 RS: The Telltale Turbo Whistle One of the biggest giveaways is that this isn't a GT3 RS. That signature turbo whistle from the engine. While the GT3 RS uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, the GT2 RS has historically packed a twin-turbo punch. For the last generation, that meant a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six churning out a wicked 700 horsepower. All are sent exclusively to the rear wheels - hence its "widowmaker" nickname. So what's in store for the new 2027 911 GT2 RS? Well, rumors point to a massive power hike to nearly 1,000 hp. That's hypercar territory for a road-legal 911! The new 2027 GT2 RS: A hybrid?
