Although Novitec is a Germany-based tuner, it specializes in modifying Italian machines. Its latest creation is the Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider, a beefier version of the open-top Ferrari grand tourer. Novitec has boosted the Roma Spider's power output and empowered it to cross the 200 mph mark. It has also tweaked the appearance of the prancing horse, giving it a sportier mien. Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider: N-Tronic Module and Suspension Upgrade Powering the Ferrari Roma Spider is a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 motor. It is capable of outputting 612 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque in its stock form. An 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission comes paired with this engine. However, several stages of tuning enhance the Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider's power output. The car is equipped with a Novitec N-TRONIC module. This module adds custom maps for injection, boost, and ignition to the ECU. The result is an output of 714 horsepower and 651 lb-ft of torque. This is an increase of 83 hp and 90 lb-ft over the stock Roma Spider. This upgrade has dropped around 0.2 seconds from the open-top Roma's 0-60 time. The Novitec Roma Spider hits 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Furthermore, while the stock car is limited to 199 mph, the Novitec version can climb above 200 mph (325 km/h). The suspension also gets a notable upgrade. The Novitec Roma Spider features a proprietary set of sports springs, lowering the car by about 35 mm. Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider: Carbon Fiber Makeover And New Vossen Wheels The Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider also flaunts a slew of exterior upgrades. An exclusive set of Vossen NF 11 five-spoke alloys adorn the side profile of the Novitec Roma. This 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels are wrapped around by high-performance tires. Along with the wheels, the car also gets a slew of exposed carbon fiber components. The Novitec body kit consists of a front lip spoiler, front grill, rear diffuser, and a lot more. In short, the Novitec Ferrari Roma Spider is a faster, carbon-cloaked version of the Italian GT car. It is a tasteful, and significant upgrade to the already impressive machine. Novitec. Top Gear
