Novitec has a thing for turning fast cars into something even more menacing. The latest build is a Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster. It’s been a while since this model was in the spotlight. The Aventador S Roadster first showed up in 2017, about a year after the coupe. Nearly eight years later, it’s not exactly fresh news—but Novitec just brought it back with a new attitude. The tuner posted a first look on Instagram. Drop the roof panels, lower the rear window, and the 6.5-liter engine behind your head turns every drive into a full-throttle experience. The lightweight roof setup was designed for function. At just 13 pounds (6 kg), the two-piece hardtop was easy to remove and fit neatly into the frunk. Buyers had options too—gloss black, matte black carbon fiber, or exposed carbon fiber, all included at no extra charge. And for those who wanted something even more unique, Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program offered custom finishes. With the roof off, the cabin felt more open, but the real treat was the push-button rear window. It let drivers bring in more of the V12’s sound, whether cruising through the city or pushing the limits on an open stretch of road. The Aventador S Roadster came with four-wheel steering, recalibrated driving modes, reworked suspension geometry, and a fine-tuned ESC system to keep its 730-horsepower in check. Behind the 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, carbon ceramic brakes provided stopping power, while Pirelli P Zero tires kept grip levels high. Inside, it had all the essentials—Apple CarPlay, a customizable TFT digital dashboard, and just enough tech to balance out the raw, old-school supercar feel. Of course, the real reason this car mattered was under the hood. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 produced 730 hp (740 PS / 544 kW) at 8,400 rpm and 507 lb-ft (690 Nm) of torque at 5,500 rpm. That translated to 0-62 mph (100 kph) in three seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (350 kph). Power was sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed transmission and a Haldex AWD system with a rear self-locking differential. Source: Novitec | Instagram
