Not every day does a one-off Pagani pop up for sale, but this 2014 Huayra Coupe Oceano Pacifico is now on the market. Pagani made just 100 standard Huayras, but this isn’t one of them. It’s a bespoke commission, built for a Californian buyer, making it the only one of its kind. Despite being a decade old, it’s barely seen the road, showing just ~2,000 miles (~3,200 km) on the odometer. Now listed for sale on Bring a Trailer, it’s already catching the attention of collectors. Given its rarity, it won’t sit around for long. Commissioned in 2014, this one-of-one build was designed to reflect the colors of the Pacific Ocean, giving it a deep blue finish with crisp white accents. The exposed Blu Tricolore carbon fiber on the nose, roof, and rear decklid adds contrast, while the leaf-shaped side mirrors carry the Italian tricolore as a finishing touch. Underneath, there is a carbon-titanium monocoque with chromoly subframes and a composite safety cell around the fuel tank. The wing-shaped carbon-fiber body works with active aerodynamics, using front and rear flaps that adjust in real-time to keep things stable at high speeds. The hydropneumatic front lift system ensures clearance when needed. Shortly after delivery, it went back to Pagani’s factory for the Tempesta package. That meant a titanium exhaust, Öhlins coilovers, and reworked aerodynamics, including a new front splitter, carbon underbody panels, and a rear diffuser. The wheels are just as custom. It currently rides on blue center-lock alloys with white rims, but the sale includes a second set in gold. Braking comes from Brembo carbon-ceramic discs, clamped by six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston units at the rear. The Pirelli P Zero tires—255/30 at the front, 355/25 at the back—keep it planted. Even the tan leather retaining straps securing the front and rear clamshells are a nod to old-school craftsmanship. A V12 Made by Mercedes-AMG Powering the Oceano Pacifico is a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12, handcrafted by Mercedes-AMG for Pagani. It’s a beast of an engine—730 horsepower, 738 lb-ft of torque, and just 2,976 pounds (1,350 kg) to move. That’s more power than most hypercars today, packed into something lighter than a compact sedan. The M158 V12 is engineered for relentless performance. Twin-scroll turbochargers cut down lag, while dry-sump lubrication keeps the oil flowing under extreme cornering. Keeping all that power cool is a complex intercooling system, with dual radiators flanking two canted engine radiators tucked into the nose panel. An 85-liter fuel tank feeds a two-stage fuel system, ensuring the V12 never starves for power. It’s transversely mounted in an aluminum case, using a dual-plate clutch for razor-sharp shifts. The suspension is just as serious—Avional double A-arms paired with pushrod-actuated Öhlins coilovers keep it planted at any speed. And then there’s the Tempesta titanium exhaust. It gives the Huayra’s turbocharged V12 a raw, mechanical howl that sets it apart from anything else on the road. For those looking to add it to their collection, the Carfax report is clean, and it’s currently listed for auction on Bring a Trailer. Source: Bring a Trailer
