The Legacy of the Pagani Huayra Codalunga The outgoing Pagani Huayra is a fairly special car. Built from 2012-2024, it spawned many special iterations, like the legendary R and beautiful BC. But the most unique of the Huayra range was the Codalunga. In Italian, “Condalunga” means “Longtail”, which is why this iteration’s body is 14 inches longer than the regular Huayra. The body takes inspiration from 1960s Italian “longtail” racing cars. However the body isn’t just a work of art, it’s been cleverly engineered to be light. Using Pagani’s blend of carbon fibre and titanium the Condalunga weighs under 1.3 tonnes. In addition, its 6.0l twin-turbo V12 produces 840 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. The result is 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 230mph. Small wonder only 5 of these magnificent machines were ever built and costs from $7.5 million. The Iconic Hermes Edition: The Finest Condalunga This particular Condalunga was commissioned by real estate tycoon and petrolhead Manny Khoshbin, paired up with the equally exotic fashion brand Hermes. They provided specialised materials for this car’s bespoke interior including rich green leather seats and soft white accents across the centre console. The Hermes Edition also features a teal livery contrasting with white accents on both the wheels and brake callipers. In addition, large white circles on the door and a white ceramic finish on the exhaust give that classic racing aesthetic. And unlike most Paganis, the Condalunga’s paint is sleek and solid and doesn’t expose raw carbon fibre. Pagani: Masters of Craftsmanship Forever The Huayra Condalunga is a symbol of Pagani’s approach to bespoke craftsmanship combined with raw power.
