The Pininfarina Battista might be what keeps the brand relevant now. But, Pininfarina holds a revered reputation for designing and coach-building. And now, they have teased a novel one-off creation. This new machine has been custom-tailored for an existing Battista owner. From the vague teaser image, we aren't able to interpret much. Details on the platform and chassis also remain unknown. Pininfarina calls it “the ultimate future collectible”. They further add that it is an expression of the brand's guiding philosophy, which is “Dream Cars, Made Real”. Pininfarina has a prestigious coach-building history of almost a century. Hence, we expect them to unveil something magnificent. And the fact that it is a one-off further raises our expectations. It could use the chassis of the Pininfarina Battista electric hypercar. The Battista receives its chassis from Rimac, who uses it to underpin the Nevera. Last year at Monterey, Pininfarina had unveiled a speedster version of the Battista. Dubbed Pininfarina B95, production of this drop-top was limited to 10 units. This year, Pininfarina is stepping it up a notch. The new coach-built, custom-made machine is a one-off. It is exclusively made for collectors and Battista owners. After the big reveal at the Monterey Car Week, the car will be shipped to the owner who resides in North America. Pininfarina has not revealed any details on the price of the one-of-one machine. Last year's B95 speedster had the same 1,874-hp electric powertrain as the Battista. It comprises a 120 kWh T-shaped battery pack and four electric motors.
