Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Spectre Series II, an updated version of its all-electric super-coupé that brings meaningful improvements to range, power, and interior personalisation. The 2027 model builds on the Spectre's strong commercial performance since its 2023 launch, refining what is already the brand's second-best-selling model globally, behind the Cullinan, and ahead of the Phantom. More Range, More Power, More Capability The headline technical upgrade is a re-engineered battery delivering 390 miles of WLTP range, up 18 percent from the outgoing model's 329 miles. Charging times have been cut by 14 percent, and the Series II now adopts NACS compatibility, opening access to Tesla's Supercharger network for the first time, a practical detail that significantly expands real-world convenience for everyday owners. Power has increased across both variants. The standard Spectre now produces 592 hp and 748 lb-ft of torque. The Black Badge Series II reaches 670 hp and 811 lb-ft in Infinity Mode, figures that make it the most powerful production Rolls-Royce ever built. A separate Spirited Mode delivers 1,100 Nm of torque on demand. Despite these gains, the character of the car remains exactly what Rolls-Royce intended: near-silent, effortless, and utterly unruffled. Visually, the Series II is deliberately restrained. The celebrated fastback profile, split headlamp signature, and clean body surfacing are all carried over unchanged, a deliberate decision that speaks to how resolved the original design already was. A new Ethereal Blue exterior finish joins the colour palette, and newly designed 23-inch forged alloy wheels - each hand-finished at the Goodwood factory for up to six hours - update the car's presence without altering its fundamental character. Black Badge models receive Iced Black Exterior Detailing, converting most brightwork to a sophisticated matte finish while keeping the Pantheon grille vanes polished. A full interior application can involve up to 2.6 million stitches, 10 miles of thread, and 25 hours of skilled construction. Clients choose from Lilac, Chocolate, Black, and the new Sage colourway, with more than 50 thread colours available for the embroidered elements. Placed Perforation leather makes its debut on the Spectre, using precision cutting to create artistic patterns across the seating surfaces. The debut design comprises 78,138 individual perforations in three distinct sizes, inspired by cloud silhouettes moving across moonlight. When extended to the illuminated door panels, the pattern disperses toward each light source, creating an atmospheric backlit effect. A new Brindled Walnut veneer, finished with a lacquer containing fine glass flake powder, produces a shimmering depth effect that appears suspended beneath the surface. The fascia has been redesigned to span the full interior width, incorporating a new Illuminated Fascia artwork of 8,108 individual pixel-like lights arranged in a directional wave pattern inspired by mist settling over the South Downs woodlands surrounding Goodwood. A redesigned clock draws from aviation instrumentation - cast metal hands, clean graphic treatment - positioned above a solid stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy figurine in an up-lit inset. Bespoke demand for the Spectre now ranks second only to the Phantom within the Rolls-Royce portfolio, with clients typically requesting more than 20 individual Bespoke elements per commission. Pricing remains consistent with the outgoing model - $397,750 for the standard Spectre Series II and $467,750 for the Black Badge - with Rolls-Royce confirming no major changes are planned to either figure.
